Sparse principal component analysis (SPCA) is a popular method to get the sparse loadings of principal component analysis (PCA), it represents PCA as a regression model by using lasso constraint, but the selected features of SPCA are independent and generally different with each principal component (PC). Therefore, we modify the regression model by replacing the elastic net with L_(2,1)-norm, which encourages row-sparsity that can get rid of the same features in different PCs, and utilize this new "self-contained" regression model to present a new framework for graph embedding methods, which can get sparse loadings via L_(2,1)-norm. Experiment on Pitprop data illustrates the row-sparsity of this modified regression model for PCA and experiment on YaleB face database demonstrates the effectiveness of this model for PCA in graph embedding.

Carbonate reservoirs in Gas Field A of Turkmenistan are evaluated and compared between different struc tures. The reservoirs of great anticline structures mainly presents characteristics of pore -vug texture, and the reser voir of drape structure mainly presents characteristics of pore texture and fracture -pore texture. From the view of carbonate reservoir development, a new physical aggregative index Zs of reservoir property is proposed based on dy namic texture analysis, relatively low poroperm correlation and its relatively high correlation with central capillary pressure. The index is applied in actual reservoir analysis and it shows preferable availability in carbonate reservoir evaluation of Gas Field A. As a result, the reservoir is classified into four grades according to reservoir aggregative property. By means of capillary pressure data used to generate the gas saturation -gas column height curves of dif ferent grades' reservoirs, and to analyze liquid distribution combining with conventional and image logging data, and wireline formation testing data. The development and availability of fractures have regional apparent diversity. Finally, it is pointed out that fractures and micro -fractures play a very important role in gas deliverabili ty of carbonate reservoir development especially in drape structure area.

In this article, the risks associated with modeling, assessing, managing, and communicating of observing systems are taken into consideration, a cyber-infrastructure architecture is designed to ensure the global observation networks real-time, integrated network research and mass data analysis, with its base station communications, satellites and cables to transfer data, using distributed computing platform for real-time analysis of mass data of worldwide sensors to obtain the new progress of research topic and provide disaster warning. This is important to allow researchers study collaboratively with other researchers as if in their laboratories, also cause the public to further contact with sea world, and widen the public education road.

This paper presents an introduction of an embedded processor-based laboratory environment monitor system and its design for hardware and software. This system aims at completing monitoring a variety of real-time data and the states of laboratory, judging environmental index automatically, and detecting intrusions from outside companied with sound and light alarm. To sum up, this system achieves the intelligent management of laboratory. By wired or wireless means, the laboratory monitoring system can communicate with PC and realize telemetry, meeting the needs of unmanned laboratory.
